Frequently Asked Questions
What is your wedding photography style?
Our approach varies throughout the wedding day. During the ceremony and reception, we use a photojournalistic approach by capturing moments as they unfold from different angles. Generally, we will do some portraits before the wedding and right after the ceremony and at these times our style is more similar to our other portrait work.
How many weddings have you done?
Erika has been the primary photographer for over 45 weddings and assisted other photographers with many more weddings over the past 12 years. Jake began photographing weddings two years ago.
What camera equipment do you use?
We shoot with professional grade Canon DSLRs. Our main cameras are Canon 5d Mark iv and iii's and various lenses. We use both natural and artificial lighting at almost every wedding, including off camera flash for darker venues.
How many images will I get and when?
The average is around 800 images for a full day wedding. This depends on the timeline so it varies for each wedding. You will be able to view your images within 2 weeks of the wedding and you can download your digital files two weeks after making your album selections.
